Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her roles as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only daughter to Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the world of show business early, and ended up performing lead roles in various TV dramas before she reached the age of 16. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall, her role as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects over the years. They include the British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historic miniseries Napoleon and many more. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
