Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. She was seen on QI along as well as Stephen Fry. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who committed suicide at the age of three when Bea turned three, was the suicide victim. Bea was informed of his passing at thirteen years of age. To honor her dad, she chose the stage-name Bea and in 2017, published an article on suicides and deaths that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a an ex-professional jockey. Their family was enthralled by racing as well as horses. Bea was initially a tourist guide for the Irish National Stud. But she realized her true passion was doing and not racing.
